Recently, Karen was part of a peacefull demonstration in Dewsbury town centre to raise awareness of peodophile grooming of young girls in the area.
As the grooming problem involves an alarming disproportianate amount of Muslim men, and all of the members of the grooming gangs are Muslim, a number of Muslims in the area took exception to our presence.
Karen was handing out leaflets to passers by,... when she was aproached by a group of young Pakistani men. They became very abusive, and were joined by a Muslim woman. This Muslim woman spat in Karens face, and called her a "White Whore" (racist abuse). One of the Pakistani men then, as they were getting extremely aggressive, pushed her (assault). The many police officers that were present, stood idly by, and watched, failing to do their jobs and help a woman who was under attack.
As this man rushed up to her again, Karen pushed him away. She was then besieged by 6 police officers who manhadled her, dragged her to the floor, jumped on top of her and then subjected her to an unbeleivably savage beating, before throwing her in the back of a police van and arrested her.
Karen has been charged with assault, for defending herself when the police failed to assist her when she was under attack from the man and woman who were allowed to simply walk away.
Karen will appear in court on the 12th July.
